The Barr & Stroud Sahara scope is waterproof and features rugged armoured construction for many years of use. The Sahara scope features Bak-4 prisms and are multi-coated complete with precision ground lenses to provide high optical performance. The body is manufactured from lightweight polycarbonate which makes it extremely rugged and durable. The rubber armour protects the scope from damage during use. It is waterproof, fog proof and nitrogen purged. It has a sliding sunshade on the front. An outer cover is supplied.

The Hahnel tripod is fully adjustable in all planes, the legs extend in 4 sections and is of sturdy construction.
