Haka is an Asymmetrical Japanese selfbow Longbow made from common Yew and backed with silver Birch Bark. I made the bow operate as a Selfbow and then applied the backing for various benefits including strength.

The tip Overlays are Mahogany and are shaped to a blunt tip to form a compromise between top speed and tip strength. This is my favourite tip shape do far. 

64". Around 35lbs at 28". Shooting thumb draw from the right of the bow. Brace height is 8". I shoot and test all the bows extensively and make sure they are working as they should. I do this with a focus on smooth draw, comfortable shooting and bow longevity 

This bow has the widest profile of the Maruki I have made and has a lovely smooth feel with a quiet release. This is also the flattest of the Maruki but still holds a decent amount of reflex and beautiful shape in all stages.
