Bickerstaffe Basic Longbow made of Hickory, Purplheart and Lemonwood. I’ve owned this bow for about 13 years from new. However, I haven’t used it for 8 years due mainly to shooting recurve.

The bow was last strung a year ago at my local Quicks branch to check it before getting ready to sell it but then I was unsure if I wanted to get back into longbow shooting. The bow registered 55lb @ 28inch. Sadly shoulder issues have forced me to stop all archery.

This is a great bow and although it was hardly used I did shoot a few Yorks in local competitions so it is good out to 100yds. Never dry shot.

COLLECT ONLY from Honiton in Devon. I could meet up part way if travelling from further away. Serious archers only please as this bow requires the usual longbow TLC including a good warmup prior to shooting. I have no means to test before purchase unless you have time to visit my local Quicks that does have a range, but this would be subject to the staff having the time to let us on the range.
