A premium, slim-diameter bar set that works brilliantly on recurve or compound. The Acclaim 550 is a 0.550" diameter bar that’s described as one of the stiffest on the market, with stiffness comparable to a 0.650" bar (so it can handle heavy end-weight), but with a slimmer profile for better wind resistance. It also features a carbon fibre twill finish with engraved endcaps.

AXCEL’s CarboFlax concept blends plant-based flax into ultra high modulus carbon to create a bio-composite hybrid aimed at improving feel and damping higher-frequency vibration compared with standard carbon bars, and AXCEL’s system includes their X‑VIBE approach (a clamp-on, sliding damper design) to further tune shock/vibration behaviour.

AXCEL also markets these bars as “podium proven” - highlighting medal-winning performances in Tokyo and Paris, and naming athletes such as Kim Woo-jin, Lee Woo-seok, and Michelle Kroppen among those shooting AXCEL.
